At Truckger, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and services.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, company name (optional), and phone number (optional).
Location Data
We collect precise GPS location when you track a trip, including with Always location enabled so auto-start can begin a trip and IFTA miles keep recording after you leave the app. This includes latitude, longitude, speed, heading, and accuracy. Personal auto-trips are stored separately from work miles used in IFTA reports.
Trip Data
We store information about your trips including start and end times, odometer readings, mileage, routes taken, and state crossings.
Vehicle Information
We collect details about your vehicles such as make, model, year, VIN, license plate, and unit numbers.
Fuel Purchase Data
When you log fuel purchases, we store the date, location, amount, price, and optionally receipt images.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- •Provide trip tracking and mileage calculation services
- •Generate IFTA quarterly reports
- •Calculate fuel tax obligations by state
- •Store and organize your trip history
- •Send notifications about trips and reports (if enabled)

3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for data storage, which provides:

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

- •With service providers who help us operate the app (under strict confidentiality agreements)
5. Location Permissions
The app requires location permissions to function properly. You can control these in your device settings:
- •Always Allow - Recommended for automatic trip detection and background tracking
- •While Using - Location tracked only when app is open
- •Never - App functionality will be limited
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- •Access your personal data at any time through the app
- •Request correction of inaccurate data
- •Delete your account and all associated data
- •Export your data in a portable format
- •Opt out of non-essential data collection
- •Withdraw consent for location tracking at any time
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
8. Children's Privacy
Truckger is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
